Welcome to Nepal!

We welcome you with a “Namaste”, the Nepalese greeting gesture with palms held together in front of our heart and bowing our head.

We express our gratitude for your love and support shown to us last year inspiring us to be a part of this festival again.

A treasure trove of natural and cultural heritage, Nepal is a nation of 26.5 million people with 126 caste/ethnic groups, 123 local languages and ten different religions. Though diversity within the Nepalese culture is manifested in its religion, tradition, ethnicity, language and heritage, it is a coherently united culture. Thus ‘unity in diversity’ reflects our way of life.

With its unique geographical position and altitudinal variation ranging from 67 m to 8848 m above sea level (MOUNT EVEREST), Nepal is rich in natural beauty with over 240 peaks above 6,096 m, and a hotspot for bio-diversity. Although Nepal occupies only 0.1% of the total landmass of the earth, it is home to 8% of the world’s population of birds, 4% of mammals on earth, 11 of the world’s 15 families of butterflies, 600 indigenous plant families and 319 species of exotic orchids.

Nepal is the birthplace of Lord Buddha. Year round festivals add colors to the Nepalese life. We take great pride in Nepal’s breathtaking landscapes and extend our humility by providing mountaineering platforms to the outside world. Our pavilion welcomes you to take a peek into our cultural diversity, heart touching landscapes, beautiful mountains and displays. Please come and enjoy our traditional music, dances, cultural shows and, of course, traditional foods.
